Unmasking Implicit Bias: Mental Health and Healing in Communities of Color
This interactive workshop equips mental health professionals with tools to recognize, interrupt, and transform implicit bias in clinical settings. Through case vignettes, self-reflection, and systems analysis, participants will explore how racial bias impacts mental health access, diagnosis, and therapeutic outcomes for communities of color. Emphasizing trauma-informed care and cultural responsiveness, the training centers on healing justice and actionable change at the individual and institutional levels.
