It Starts with Connection: A conversation with Dr. Kate Rosenblum
Come join us during Celebrate Babies Week as we explore the power of connection in the earliest years of life. Join Dr. Kate Rosenblum for an engaging conversation about early relationships and what we can all do to support babies and the people who care for them. (JGA)
We will explore the importance of relationships in supporting the well-being and development of infants, young children, and their caregivers. Participants will learn about current research on caregiver-child relationships, parent mental health, trauma and resilience, and relationship-based interventions. Through reflection and discussion, participants will connect the research to their own work with families and explore practical ways to strengthen protective factors, parent-child connection, and community support (JGA).
4 measurable learning objectives:
- Describe key research findings related to caregiver-child relationships and parent well-being.
- Recognize protective factors that support healthy relationships between caregivers, children, and their communities.
- Identify ways relationship-based approaches can be incorporated into work with families.
- Reflect on opportunities for collaboration and partnership to better support infants.
