Navigating Post Acute Withdrawal Syndrome with Mind Body Interventions
An experiential, skills-based training, designed to focus on “bottom up” methods, including reflex points, simple movements, breath work, bi-lateral stimulation of the brain, body tapping, and toning of the Vagus nerve. These methods are designed to help clinicians in assisting their clients in navigating PAWS. The skills taught will aid in reducing symptoms of irritability, anxiety, restlessness, impulsivity, cravings, and sleep issues to name a few. The methods are experiential and we encourage participation as practice is the difference maker.
