Working with Defense Mechanisms through an ISTDP-framework
This two-hour training presents an introduction to working with different forms of defense mechanisms, provided through the framework of Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP). The workshop will include real client video vignettes, which will teach therapists how to identify defense mechanisms, understand their function, and learn to effectively intervene. This training is optional, free, and provides 2 clinical, general CEUs approved by NASW-MI.
Condition of Admittance Forms are required for attending this program due to the real patient video tape being shown. Please be sure to complete this portion of your registration if you are interested in attending this training.
