Depressive Disorders: The Basics
Regardless of your work setting or the age group, gender, socio-economic status, ethnicity, faith, sexual orientation, etc. of the clients you work with, you will be working with people that suffer with a Depressive Disorder. This workshop will offer an overview of the basics regarding Depressive Disorders as identified in DSM-5-TR. Included topics are the DSM5 diagnosis criteria, how a depressive disorder differs from depression in Bipolar Disorder, co-occurring disorders, screening tools, treatment options and resources. Case examples from participants are encouraged!
