I have been a formal field instructor for the last 5 years. Prior to this experience I was also a lead telephone Crisis Intervention Specialist where I trained and supported our new staff members.

I have been in the field of medical social work for the last eight years, prior to that I worked in Community Mental Health with adults. My primarily clinical work at this time is with oncology and trauma patients. I am passionate about integrated health and bridging the gap between mental health and physical health in order to ensure the whole person is receiving appropriate health care. Part of achieving that goal is mentoring the next generation.
