Currently, I mentor interns from our local area colleges and for limited license social work professionals. As a supervisor, I will meet your personal needs to:
* Enhance professional growth/development competency and accountability within the social work profession.
* Provide case management in regards to direct patient care by: examining your ability to maintain the NASW Code of Ethics, apply theories of human behavior and person-in-environment, cultural responsive methods when navigating client's issues or to advocate on behalf of the client.
* Review and explore the following: HIPAA, Confidentiality, review of documentation, evidence-based research interventions, conflict resolution skills, the importance of self-care, assessment tools, boundaries, technology use, understanding measurable outcomes with client's and cultural awareness are among the topics we can cover.
* Licensure requirements for Michigan is reviewed regarding the following topics: LARA, license application, the importance of continuing education requirements.
