I always reach out to support those in need of supervision, mainly because as a social worker that is who we are, helpers and supporters. This past school year I officially supervised 2 individuals in school social work.
Additional Comments/Notes
Working within the school system can be a little different in that we work closely with other professionals with varying or different professional standards. Understanding the role of SSW in the context of the school setting requires a broad and specific base of knowledge to achieve positive outcomes. I can offer guidance to build that knowledge base.
