I worked at the Ann Arbor VA Outpatient Mental Health Clinic for just under 15 years. I was part of a full DBT program and provided individual and group therapy. Many Psychology Interns, Post Doc Students, Social Work Interns co-facilitated with the DBT Groups and saw individual clients for individual therapy. I was part of a DBT Consultation group where we would discuss cases and help with a client in the program. The consultation group also provided mental support to all the clinicians as they were participating in the DBT program.
Additional Comments/Notes
I started my private practice Mindful Transitions LLC in 2023 after I left the VA. I continue to offer DBT Informed Therapy and work with many people with Borderline Personality Disorder. I also provide CBT, IPT, Motivational Interviewing. I have worked with clients ages 13-78. I have worked with clients that have PTSD, Childhood Trauma, Suicidal Ideation, Cluster B Traits, OCD and Self Harm.
