I began delivering supervision while working in a private group practice located in Goldsboro, North Carolina, in 2010. I provided individual and group supervision to limited licensed clinical social workers who provided clinical therapy to ages 5 to 80+. We routinely explored the seven core competencies through various treatment modalities to provide a more comprehensive supervision experience. This blueprint for foundational supervision became the standard of practice for future private practices in North Carolina and Michigan.
