Past Experience

Prior supervision/mentoring experience
I offer clinical supervision to LLMSWs working toward full licensure, focusing on strengthening clinical judgment, deepening ethical insight, and supporting each supervisee’s professional growth and confidence. I view supervision as a collaborative and reflective space where new clinicians can explore how to show up with clarity, compassion, and integrity in their work. Together, we bridge the NASW Code of Ethics and CSWE Competencies with real-world clinical practice, while also developing interventions that are evidence-informed and tailored to each client’s needs and the clinician’s authentic style. Additionally, I provide guidance and encouragement regarding the licensure process, including support in preparing for the ASWB Clinical Exam. My goal is to help supervisees grow into thoughtful, ethically attuned, and self-led practitioners, grounded in both best practices and their own inner wisdom.
Additional comments
My supervision style is warm, collaborative, and insight-focused. I support clinicians in developing both clinical depth and practical skills, integrating Internal Family Systems (IFS), AEDP, Gottman Method, CBT, and trauma-informed approaches. I also bring a strengths-based lens and focus on self-compassion, client attunement, and developing a sustainable, ethical private practice. My clinical background includes working with individuals, couples, and families in both agency and private practice settings, as well as experience as a crisis counselor, supporting clients through suicide prevention and mental health emergencies. These experiences allow me to bring a grounded, real-world perspective to supervision — one that honors both the complexity of clinical work and the humanity of the clinician. I also support supervisees in navigating the often-overlooked day-to-day aspects of practice, including writing clinically sound progress notes for insurance, understanding documentation expectations, and building habits of self-care to prevent burnout and secondary trauma.
