Finding a therapist who understands the whole person you are including your gender and sexuality experiences can be tricky. As a social worker in the field for over 20 years, I have worked closely with the LGBTQI+ community through advocacy and therapy to help people live their most authentic selves both in the world and within themselves. Being a provider in this space is a sacred honor as well as being able to carefully be with and think about the various ways internalized homophobia, internalized bias on gender and sexuality show up in over lives and how they can be traumatizing in a deep and profound way.

I am provide supervision and consultation for social workers looking to expand their awareness and clinical skills with the community or as a queer social worker.

I have completed the Gender Affirming Care training in order to specialize in writing gender affirming letters for teens and adults to obtain the medical treatment you need in order to live in a body that feels consistent and reflects your internal gender identity. I also identify as a queer person so I use my own personal experiences to inform my work.
