About

Tell us a little about your social work practice/services
I am a clinical social worker with over twenty years of experience working with children, young adults, and their parents. I have a special interest in providing counseling for individuals suffering from anxiety or depression, as well as clients struggling with gender identity or trans issues.

My goal is to help everyone reach their full potential by using a variety of techniques to help them change their thinking, mood, and behavior. Using a cognitive-behavioral therapy approach, I help clients look at things from a new, more helpful perspective. I help clients identify, evaluate, and challenge automatic, negative thoughts and behaviors. Sessions are structured, goal-oriented, and problem-focused. I recognize and respect diversity within the transgender and gender non-conforming culture.
