About
Tell us a little about your social work practice/services
As a licensed clinical social worker I have worked with adolescents, families and adults in the areas of anxiety, depression, as well as grief and loss. I have experience and specialization in trauma-informed treatment, mindfulness, human sexuality, and working closely with LGBTQIA+ individuals.
With more than 30 years in the field of human services, my approach to therapy includes helping you honor your strengths, because we all have them. Utilizing a character strengths measurement tool to bring forth and highlight your strengths is a part of every client's work.
You can be the catalyst in your own life, the lives of loved ones and in your communities.
Curiosity is key!
I hold a BA from the College of William and Mary in Virginia and a Master’s in Social Work from the Smith College School for Social Work. LGBTQIA+ populations and anti-racism work were the foci of my graduate degree studies.
