Prior Supervision Experience
I have provided supervision since about 2017 for individuals with an LLMSW along with having experience as a supervisor for Care Management at Network 180 for two years. I have mentored younger social workers through NASW MI and I provide consultation and support for fully licensed social workers. I take the approach of mentoring and collaboration verses a power over dynamic of being an expert in the field. I believe that all social workers know the answer but often struggle with the confident of their skills and taking their education and applying it to the real work of social work.
Additional Comments/Notes
I am currently in private practice and support other therapists/social workers to heal their trauma and to celebrate their amazing work. I am the NASW MI Region 4 Representative, NASW-MI Delegate, and provide consultation to fully licensed social workers. In addition, I also teach as an adjunct at Grand Valley State University, provide trainings, and run a small on-line store with sells gifts for social workers.
