Prior Supervision Experience
Over 15+ years of supervision and mentoring experience in both Michigan and Ohio. I have supervised licensed trainees as well as interns at both the BSW and MSW levels. My supervision techniques focus on connecting the CSWE Competencies to clinical practice, understanding the NASW Code of Ethics, and focusing on treatment modalities that fit the client with their presenting problem. I train supervisees in multiple practices such as CBT, DBT, and Solution-Focused interviewing techniques to start, building upon their skill sets. We also build upon assessment and diagnosing skills to grow abilities.

I am a LISW supervisor specification in Ohio, so I can provide licensee training supervision for Ohio to obtain their independent license in Ohio as well as Michigan. I am also an Instructor and the BSW Program Director for the University of Toledo Social Work Program.
