Prior Supervision Experience
I have always loved being a mentor to newer social workers. Early in my career, I volunteered to have interns in a mental health therapy office setting. It has been an amazing experience to see so many of those early interns grow into seasoned professionals who are now sharing their wisdom with the up and coming social workers. Since 2012, I have provided mentorship and clinical consultation to social workers in a variety of clinical roles. I have also been able to provide direct supervision and mentorship to social workers in adjunct teaching roles at both Spring Arbor University and Hope College, licensure supervision to new graduates, and ongoing clinical supervision for those who do not have other clinical support in their places of employment.
