Ethics and the Substance Use Disorders Counselor
Professional ethics provide guidelines for safe and effective treatment delivery. Every profession has their own Code of Ethics, and if you are a Social Worker who works with Substance Use Disorders, then you have at least two. This workshop will provide an opportunity to explore your personal ethics within the context of the NASW Code of Ethics and the MCBAP Code of Ethics. Case studies will be provided to enhance learning of ethical decision-making and how to apply professional ethical principles.
