I have worked in a variety of human service and clinical positions as well as in post-secondary education and graduate teaching positions within the greater Grand Traverse area. My experience includes working in community mental health, emergency rooms, integrated care, and prison settings. Additionally, I have volunteered on several local agency boards as well as formerly served on the NASW-MI Board and served through gubernatorial appointment on the Criminal Justice Policy Commission until it was sunsetted by the Michigan legislature. In 2022, I transitioned fully into operating my own private practice after spending 6+ years as the Director of Behavioral Health Services, which included creating a comprehensive MAT program, in a federally qualified health center.
