I have formal supervisory experience with 2nd year MSW interns. For the past two years, I have been providing mentoring for experienced BSW clinicians in my practice group who, after a number of years in the field, are returning for their MSW.
Additional comments
Although I am certainly glad to work with anyone, I am especially interested in supporting experienced BSW clinicians who are working on their MSW, or Limited Licensed MSWs who already have professional work experience and are now pursuing their LMSW. My preferred approach to supervision is therefore to take a consultant role as much as possible, in order to leverage the skills already possessed by an experienced clinician.
